A LONG FLU SEASON IS STILL WITH US
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the flu virus is still widespread in 42 states.
Many people stop worrying about the flu in the spring. They think it is a winter illness. But there’s still a lot of flu and flu-like viral illness around.
This year the flu season peaked in January and February, but did not drop quickly as usual. Instead, flu-like symptoms have plateaued and are still present.
Even though March is ending and April is nearly here, we still need to make sure we’re ready for the flu and flu-like illness.
